Our Impact

We are committed to understanding not only what we do, but what changes as a result — for individuals, households, communities, and the environments in which they live.

Impact & Accountability

Impact That Can Be Measured

As a young local organization, JRO is building its programmes, partnerships, and systems with impact and accountability in mind from the beginning. We are committed to understanding not only what we do, but what changes as a result-for individuals, households, communities, and the environments in which they live.

Our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach is designed to generate credible evidence, capture community perspectives, support continuous learning, and strengthen accountability to the people we serve, government, partners, and funding organizations.

As our programmes grow, this section will provide a transparent picture of JRO's reach, results, learning, and contribution to community resilience.
How change connects

Four Pathways. One Resilience Goal.

Healthy people, protected communities, sustainable livelihoods, and healthy environments with clean energy are interconnected parts of community resilience.

How we measure change
01

Healthy People

Improved health, well-being, knowledge and access to essential services.

02

Protected Communities

Stronger protection, preparedness and support for people affected by humanitarian and climate-related shocks.

03

Sustainable Livelihoods

Greater opportunities for vulnerable households to build secure, productive and climate-resilient livelihoods.

04

Healthy Environment & Clean Energy

Protected ecosystems, responsible natural-resource use and increased access to sustainable energy solutions.
